Pad Yatra ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use the Pad Yatra iOS application.

1. Information We Collect

We collect only the information necessary to provide you with the Pad Yatra experience:

• Temple visit data — temples you mark as visited and your progress within each pilgrimage circuit, stored locally on your device.
• Usage data — anonymised analytics about which features are used, to help us improve the app. This does not include personally identifiable information.
• Device information — basic device type and operating system version, used to ensure compatibility.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect:

• Your name, email address, or any account credentials (no account is required to use Pad Yatra)
• Your precise or approximate location
• Photos, contacts, or other content from your device
• Payment information

3. How We Use Your Information

The information we collect is used solely to:

• Provide and improve the Pad Yatra experience
• Understand how features are used in aggregate so we can fix bugs and add improvements
• Ensure the app functions correctly on your device

We do not sell, trade, or rent your information to third parties.

4. Data Storage

Your pilgrimage progress and temple visit data is stored locally on your device. We do not upload your personal journey data to our servers. If you delete the app, this data is removed from your device.

5. Third-Party Services

Pad Yatra may use the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:

• Apple App Store — for app distribution and purchase processing
• Analytics — we may use privacy-preserving, anonymised analytics tools. No personally identifiable data is shared with these services

6. Children's Privacy

Pad Yatra is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child, please contact us so we can delete it promptly.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

8. Your Rights

Since Pad Yatra stores data locally on your device and does not collect personally identifiable information, there is no personal data held by us to access, correct, or delete. You can remove all data associated with the app by deleting it from your device.
